Holy biceps, Batman.

Henry Cavill hasn’t lost an ounce of his Man of Steel-ness, judging from this first look of him as Superman in the upcoming Zack Snyder crossover/fanboy dream-come-true, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Fans have already been given glimpses of Ben Affleck as Batman alongside the Batmobile, and casting rumors have been swirling around Jason Momoa, long-rumored to be playing Aquaman.

Jesse Eisenberg is also reportedly confirmed to play Lex Luthor, while Jeremy Irons is taking over the Michael Caine role of Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler, Alfred.

The film has been shooting in Detroit and is slated to hit theaters May 6, 2016, so there’s plenty of still plenty of time for the traditional emotional arc of Tentpole Picture Anticipation: Disappointment, rage, acceptance and ecstatic glee.
