Barbra Streisand is sending love to her duet partner Céline Dion.

As Dion mourned her late husband René Angélil at his wake in Montreal on Thursday, Streisand shared a touching message for her fellow singer via Instagram.

“Dear @CelineDion – Every time you look at your children’s faces, you will see René,” Streisand, 73, wrote, including a throwback photo of her embracing Dion, 47. “With love and strength – B.”

The divas’ bond goes back to 1997, when they recorded their epic duet “Tell Him.”

Angélil died at the age of 73 after a long battle with cancer on Thursday. Two days later, Dion’s brother Daniel also died from cancer.

A source close to the “Because You Loved Me” singer told PEOPLE Dion has been staying strong for her and Angélil’s three children – René-Charles, 15, and 5-year-old twins Eddy and Nelson.

According to the source, Dion is “extremely heartbroken,” but is “very good at and has always been about putting on a brave face.”
