The one, the only Leonardo DiCaprio has been condemned by the European Commission for setting a bad example by smoking, reports Britain’s Press Association. The “Titanic” star was singled out as someone with a profile high enough to undermine anti-smoking efforts. EU health and social affairs Commissioner Padraig Flynn demanded: “How can we challenge that sort of positive image of smoking?” The broadside came at a conference in the Canary Islands where the Irish Commissioner, who has made the fight to ban smoking a personal crusade, said he was planning a new crackdown on tobacco companies.
