Azealia Banks has taken on a new Twitter foe, but this time it’s not another musician – it’s a whole class of plant-lovers.

“VEGANS… GO AWAY! not everyone wants to wear paper shoes and rub lemons on their armpits!!” she Tweeted on Sunday.

The rapper known for her hit song “212” received more than a bit of backlash.

“Of course not, and you don’t need to. But maybe some compassion with the poor animals is good huh?” one follower responded.

In her defense, Banks Tweeted, “I express myself, but I never try and push my beliefs and ideas on others.”

That doesn’t mean Banks, 23, who has previously thrown shade at stars like Iggy Azalea and T.I., will be apologizing any time soon.

“I don’t need you to agree with me, and you should not need me to agree with you …” she wrote.
