One day just wasn’t enough for Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis to celebrate their love for one another – so they made a weekend out of it.

“They seemed very relaxed,” a source says of the couple’s demeanor in the days leading up to their July 4 weekend wedding party. “You would have never guessed they were actually preparing for [a big celebration].”

Kutcher, 37, and Kunis, 31, kicked things off on July 2 with an intimate poolside lunch at their Beverly Hills home, according to the source.

From there, the festivities moved to a secluded spot – which the couple dubbed "Camp KuKu" – at Secret Garden at Parrish Ranch in Oak Glen, California, an hour and a half east of Los Angeles.

The former That ’70s Show costars’ closest friends and family were treated to a “low-key” weekend of camping, “kid-friendly” activities and a family-style candlelit dinner of comfort foods nodding to Kutcher’s native Iowa, according to an insider close to the couple.

“It was a wonderful day,” adds the insider. “Just one great party.”
