As an internationally renowned pop star, it’s safe to say that Ariana Grande has done some pretty cool things. But as far as she’s concerned, performing alongside Madonna is at the top of her list of proudest accomplishments.

According to the “Dangerous Woman” singer, her love for Madge goes way back.

“I’ve gone to literally every single one of her tours that I’ve been alive for,” she said while stopping by On Air with Ryan Seacrest Thursday.

“I’m a diehard Madonna supporter and I love watching her on stage. It’s like she’s just having the time of her life. Other than making people feel something and everything she stands for … it’s really great to see her onstage having such a wonderful time after so many people have tried to tear her down.”

The 23-year-old shared the spotlight with Madonna on Jan. 24 in Miami as the Material Girl neared the end of the North American leg of her Rebel Heart tour.

“She brought me on stage!” Grande remembered, her voice still brimming with excitement. “She spanked me! She spanked me and gave me a banana. It was so exciting. It was one of the better moments of my life.”

Grande was chosen to be that evening’s “Unapologetic Bitch,” an honorary member of the audience called up during the song of the same name.

“I really had a heart attack when I heard I was going to be the ‘Unapologetic Bitch’ of the night. I was really overwhelmed. I know she brings people out – I follow her Instagram so I knew that was a thing. I just didn’t think I was eligible. We sang “Unapologetic Bitch.” It was crazy, my heart was tumbling out. It took me a minute to recover. She’s the best. She’s just such a beautiful soul.”

One thing Grande was not eager to discuss was her blossoming romance with Mac Miller. When Seacrest mentioned the cozy Instagram photo that seemed to confirm that the two were an item, Grande shut him down – fast!

“It’s like, ‘Good morning, On Air with Ryan Seacrest.’ It’s too early for this kind of tea. It’s too early, man,” she groaned.

“That’s what we do. If you post something – even in my life – if I post something, it becomes something,” the host sputtered, trying to recover.

“If I post something, then that’s what I’m willing to share at the moment. That doesn’t mean that you, Ryan Seacrest, with millions of listeners, are entitled to more information.”

Though Grande stayed mum, Miller recently spoke to PEOPLE about their new relationship.

“We hung out for a long time and everything just happened organically. We love making music together – we do that always. But she’s my best friend in the world.”
