Ariana Grande continues to make amends following a sticky situation.

After shouting, “I hate Americans. I hate America” in leaked video footage that shows her licking donuts on a tray in a local Lake Elsinore, California, doughnut shop, Grande found herself in the middle of a police investigation and the target of harsh media backlash.

While the “Love Me Harder” singer, 22, will not face any criminal charges – and has since apologized twice for the incident – she continues to try to make amends.

Grande returned to the stage for the second half of her 2015 Honeymoon tour, performing at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

When she stopped to thank the crowd for having her, she seized the moment and gave a special shout out.

“I’m so grateful to be here in Tampa,” she said. “And I’m so grateful to be here performing in the USA, the greatest country in the world.”

A fan in the crowd captured the moment on video:

Wolfee Donuts is also recovering from the incident. After the video footage went viral, a health inspector pulled their standard A rating down to a B. But that didn’t stop their sales from nearly tripling in the meantime.

“Everyone has come from all over Los Angeles to show their support,” he told PEOPLE. “Costumers are putting things on the window saying, ‘With us you’re an A plus.’ ”

After just a week of having a B, Marin told PEOPLE the shop was able to fix the problems and reclaim their A rating.
