Anthony LaPaglia, who starred in the CBS drama Without a Trace, has filed for divorce from wife Gia Carides.

The Australian actor, who was married to fellow Australian Carides for 17 years, filed papers in Los Angeles on Friday and asked for joint custody of the couple’s daughter, Bridget, 12.

LaPaglia, 56, is also agreeing to pay spousal support to Carides, 50, who had small roles in My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.

The couple, who co-starred in the 1994 movie Paperback Romance, are both set to appear in the film The Olive Sisters, which is due out next year.
