Celebrity Anne Hathaway: 'I'm Trying to Move On' The actress tells GMA she's using humor to get past troubled times By Ryan Pienciak Published on October 2, 2008 04:00 PM Share Tweet Pin Email Trending Videos Anne Hathaway says she’s “trying to move on and have a sense of humor” in the wake of her breakup with ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri and his subsequent guilty plea on money laundering and fraud charges. In an interview with Good Morning America‘s Robin Roberts on Thursday, Hathaway steered clear of specifics on Follieri, who is awaiting sentencing on Oct. 10. The actress, 25, who is promoting her latest film, Rachel Getting Married, said she’s grateful for the support she’s received during troubling times. “I have a lot of people that love me that have protected me, that were trying to protect me before and are doing even more so now,” Hathaway said. “And when you have that focus on you … and that kind of love, I’m in a position right now, where I’m in a place to grow.” The interview came a day after her the Devil Wears Prada star was visibly uncomfortable – but a good sport – as she was grilled by David Letterman about Follieri.
