Shade queen? Not so much.

Anne Hathaway took to Instagram on Monday night, quickly clarifying an earlier picture she posted which some took as shade thrown towards the KarJenner crew.

The original post, which has now been deleted, was a meme, featuring actress Helena Bonham Carter with the words “In a world of Kardashians Be a Helena Bonham Carter.”

“(Red) Queen,” Hathaway, 33, captioned the photo, referring to her co-star’s role in their new film Alice Through The Looking Glass.

That post has now been replaced with a picture of a message that reads, “Post removed for unintended shade thrown.”

The new mom captioned the post, “It never occurred to me I was pitting anyone against each other. Not my style. Peace x.”

Following her clarification, fans praised the actress in the comments section, referring to her as a “class act” for amending the situation immediately.

On Monday night, Hathaway looked absolutely stunning as she attended the premiere for Disney’s Alice Through The Looking Glass at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.
