An Arizona man pleaded guilty to a blackmail charge this week and was sentenced to 21 months in federal prison for his attempt to extort money from “Family Feud” host Louie Anderson by threatening to tell tabloids that the comic asked him for sex. Richard J. Gordon, 31, was placed on probation for three years (to take place following his release) and ordered to pay $4,000 in restitution to Anderson, Assistant U.S. Attorney David Wright told the Associated Press. Anderson’s attorney informed federal authorities earlier that Gordon received nearly $100,000 from Anderson but had demanded another $250,000, according to court papers.
