Maybe she was saving it for later?

Illinois Rep. Tammy Duckworth, a double amputee who uses a wheelchair and has two prosthetic legs, rescued a fallen cheese puff from an unexpected place on Thursday: her foot!

The Democrat took to Twitter to joke about her discovery, captioning a photo of the lost Cheeto, “The embarrassing moment when u look down, see a Cheetos in ur foot & realize u had @Cheetos 3days ago #AmputeeProblems.”

The congresswoman, a former U.S. Army helicopter pilot who lost both of her legs in the Iraq War, became the first disabled woman to be elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2013.

Duckworth, who welcomed daughter Abigail O’kalani Bowlsbey in November 2014, shortly after she was reelected to Congress, clearly has a soft spot for snack food.

Her Twitter feed is full of references to her favorite guilty pleasure treats.

“Road trip! Love getting out and about. ….also road trip food!” she tweeted in November. “Starting w oatmeal & a V8 to set a good foundation for the junk to come!”

“Abagail’s first trip to @sushi station and @MisuwaMarketplace So ofcourse we hit the snacks aisle.”

“Bummer! Got a @HappyMeal as i hopped on a flight&just opened it 2find they forgot the cheeseburger! OhNo @McDonalds.”

“Bummer” is an understatement. If we’ve learned one thing from Duckworth’s snack-related tweets it’s that Chester Cheetah was right – it ain’t easy being cheesy.
