Amanda Bynes returned to Twitter on Monday after a near three-month hiatus – sharing what appears to be a hand-sketched selfie with her fans.

“Hey my loves! Here’s a drawing I did! ily :D” the former child star, 28, wrote in her first post since Jan. 13. While Bynes doesn’t describe the sketch as a self-portrait, the person in the drawing does share a resemblance to the Easy A actress.

Bynes shared a similar sketch on social media this time last year, Tweeting another potential self-portrait, while simultaneously squashing rumors of a phony Twitter account.

After a year of erratic behavior on and offline, the former actress “is doing much better from where she was months ago,” a family source told PEOPLE in February.

The source added, “She has her own apartment and is much happier. She and her parents are getting along and Amanda is clear-headed, more focused and has more independence.”

Although the actress remains under the temporary conservatorship of her parents, she is scheduled for a June 23 court hearing to assess her condition.
