The actress and fashion student Tweeted for the first time in months on Saturday, telling fans what she’s up to and sending them affection. Bynes, 27, also deleted the erratic and strange Tweets that chronicled her personal and legal problems over the past two years. She got rid of the posts where she talked about needing plastic surgery or insulted other public figures, like Barack and Michelle Obama, by calling them “ugly.” The recovering star changed her Twitter photo to a drawing that appears to be one of her school assignments at the Fashion Institute for Design and Merchandising. The illustration for her “Fashion Sketching for Design I” class even shows her teacher’s comments such as, “Superb pose!” and “Gorgeous profile face!” And her Twitter bio now simply reads, “Fashion Student.” Bynes seems to be making the most of her fresh start, which was boosted Monday by a court ruling that determined she would avoid jail time for her 2012 DUI case. She pleaded to a lesser alcohol-related offense and has been placed on probation for three years. She was also ordered to attend a three-month alcohol education course and pay various fines.
