Recalling the day he asked the legendary director-actor for permission to marry Alison, Poitras told Westlake magazine, "That was kind of intimidating ... He looked at me for four or five seconds, which felt like 15 minutes, and then he said, 'You're going to have to take that up with her.' I said, 'Is that a yes or a no?' And he said, 'That's a yes,' and he shook my hand." 03 of 06 CHEERS TO YOU Courtesy Caleigh Photography At the post-ceremony reception at the Saddlepeak Lodge, Clint greeted guests with a toast to the lovebirds. "He's a cool guy," Poitras told Westlake. 04 of 06 RAISE YOUR GLASS Courtesy Caleigh Photography Guests broke bread (and sipped champagne!) over a meal that included salmon and elk – and a vegetarian dish for the animal-loving bride. 05 of 06 SWEET ON YOU Courtesy Caleigh Photography Another pièce de résistance? The couple's red velvet wedding cake, adorned with heart-shaped icing over crimson frosting. Though they kept the guest list small, they told Westlake they were hoping nine of their 12 "children" – their dogs, cats, rabbits and rats – would attend the nuptials. 06 of 06 SEALED WITH A KISS Courtesy Caleigh Photography The just-married pair capped off the evening with a sweet embrace.
