Alexis Arquette was honored at an intimate gathering Wednesday night.

A source tells PEOPLE a memorial was held at the California Science Center in Los Angeles for the late actress, who had been living with HIV for 29 years before dying of cardiac arrest on Sept. 11 at age 47.

According to the insider, all four of Alexis’ siblings — David, Rosanna, Richmond and Patricia — were present, as well as other family and close friends.

“The memorial was rather beautiful,” says the source. “It was a lovely celebration and gathering. Alexis was beautiful and so gifted.”

The source says Rosanna, 57, “produced and made an amazing film on Alexis’ film world.”
