It’s no secret that Adele can belt it out, but she also knows how to belch it out.

The singer-songwriter, 28, was performing at the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, England, on Saturday when she invited a fan to join her on stage for a selfie. After taking superfan Maria’s phone, she confessed to burping during the photo.

“Oh my God, I just burped!” she shouted into the mic before erupting with laughter. “I’ll see you later Maria.”

The cause? Adele said her dinner probably led to the now-Twitter famous “Glastonburpy” incident.

“I had a dirty burger before I came on, that’s why.”

But not even accidental bodily functions could keep Adele down. The singer seemed truly in her element on Saturday, and even changed a verse in her hit song “Hello” from “I’ve been California dreaming” to “I’ve been Glastonbury dreaming.” And not so surprisingly, the crowd went wild.

Adele was one of three headliners for the yearly festival, with Muse and Coldplay performing on Friday and Sunday, respectively. For Adele, this was a life-changing night.

“I have never been so moved by anything in my life,” she told the crowd at the end of her performance. “This is, by far, the best moment of my life so far.”
