Friday night at 8, look for a special edition of ABC’s already ubiquitous “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.” Questions that night will be entirely devoted to the movies. Why? Because the Oscars air two nights later on the same network. (Yes, Regis, that’s our final answer.) The special “Millionaire” show, which was taped last week, will be a stand-alone, says The New York Times — meaning that contestants on Friday will not carry over to the regular editions of the show. In other news of “Millionaire,” did you know that it is currently on the air in more than 70 countries — each country with its own edition? (What’s that question worth?) In Russia, reports The Times, four of the candidates running for president turned up on the show, which attracts about 30 million viewers. That’s an awful lot of rubles.
