On Tuesday, the host of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon gave PEOPLE an exclusive first look at his third picture book, This Is Baby, which will be released by Feiwel & Friends on Oct. 8, 2019. “I was gonna write a book called There’s Nothing Worse Than Installing a Car Seat, but this was a much cuter topic,” Fallon, 44, tells PEOPLE in a statement about the book, which introduces little ones to the human body and first words. (See below for the cover.) The four-time Emmy winner and his wife, Nancy Juvonen, are parents to daughters Winnie Rose, 6, and Frances Cole, 5, who inspired Fallon’s first two bestselling kids’ books: Your Baby's First Word Will Be DADA and Everything Is Mama. Now, he’s written This Is Baby, with sweet, funny text to go along with captivating artwork by Miguel Ordóñez to teach babies about different parts of the body. Feiwel & Friends “This is Jimmy’s third book and we are so excited,” says Jean Feiwel, publisher of Feiwel & Friends. “It’s about a baby naming parts of their body. This is fun, this is clever, This Is Baby.” In October 2017, the TV host told PEOPLE how much fatherhood has changed him. Courtesy Jimmy Fallon “It’s the greatest thing that has ever happened to me,” Fallon said. “You realize what’s important in life. Every single day you realize there’s a new cute thing they’re doing or saying.” Jimmy Fallon Takes the Hamilton Stage with Lin-Manuel Miranda in Puerto Rico Because Fallon is a natural entertainer and an expert at improvisation, the host loves to bring that work side of him home — sometimes! “They’ll ask, ‘Can you make up a song, Daddy?’ It’s like Moana and Trolls songs, and I’m like, ‘Let’s just watch the movies — they already made up the songs for us. Don’t make me work this hard!’ It’s the best thing ever,” he said two years ago. Jimmy Fallon/Instagram Jimmy Fallon and his family “I love them so much. Whenever we can, we put on little shows,” Fallon added. “My wife and I will sit down and we’ll watch them sing a song or tell a story. Little family talent show. We’re going to be the next Osmonds.” This Is Baby is available for pre-order now.
