Growing up in the glare of Hollywood can be an intense experience for any young actress, but beloved Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel proves that having a sense of humor can help – at least a little.

In her new memoir, Normally, This Would Be Cause For Concern, the former child star humorously recalls her experience growing up in front of the camera and the antics she also survived off-set.

From unsuccessful auditions to dating, the actress opens up about a variety of mishaps, including falling down a flight of stairs in a room full of people, a romantic moment with her significant other being ruined by “horrendous gas” and face-planting in front of Ben Affleck.

Fishel, 32, reprises her role of Topanga in the new Disney Channel spin-off series, Girl Meets World, which will premiere this summer.
