The I Am Cait star is writing a memoir about transitioning from male to female with Buzz Bissinger, the journalist behind June’s ground-breaking Vanity Fair cover story that served as her glamorous introduction to the world, Grand Central Publishing announced Tuesday. “Things have been moving so quickly that it will be nice to slow things down a bit and take the proper time to reflect on this journey,” Jenner, 66, says in a statement. “I couldn’t pick a better team, in Grand Central and Buzz, to make sure this story is told with a lot of honesty and care.” After months of speculation about her changing appearance and divorce, Jenner went public with the secret she had kept for more than 50 years in a 20/20 interview in April, telling Diane Sawyer that God gave her “the soul of a female.” The untitled book is tentatively scheduled to hit shelves in Spring 2017. Season 2 of Jenner’s docuseries – which a new trailer has teased will address her sexuality – premieres March 6 at 9 p.m. ET on E!
