New York Fashion Week is upon us, and model Toni Garrn is taking a break from hitting the runways to give back. The 24-year-old is teaming up with the uber-chic Manhattan fitness studio, New York Pilates, for brunch and a killer workout that benefits the West African region of Burkina Faso.

This isn’t the first time Garrn has hosted a charity event during fashion week; in September she organized a “Supermodel Fleamarket,” where she and her model pals (including Gisele Bundchen and Karlie Kloss!) donated clothing and accessories from their closets to benefit girls’ education in Zimbabwe through her own organization, the Toni Garrn Foundation.

This time she is incorporating her passion for Pilates into aiding Africa. Garrn teamed up with New York Pilates and founder Heather Andersen for the Pilates for Girls’ Education event on Sunday, Jan. 12. Expect tiered levels of donations: $95 for brunch at the studio and chat time with Garrn about the cause, $125 for brunch and an intimate group reformer class, $500 for a private Pilates class with Garrn and Andersen. And 100% of proceeds from the event go to expanding educational options for girls in Burkina Faso, including creating gender-equitable schools and helping girls manage their menstruation safely and effectively while in school.

Can’t make it to New York for the class? Considering making a tax-deductible donation.
