What price art? How about not being able to sit down for three days?

No, it’s not what you think. But after creating a scene going through the security checkpoint at the Wichita airport and displaying his assets for the poster for his new mockumentary Brüno, Sacha Baron Cohen apparently decided to see if blonds really do have more fun.

He learned – the hard way – they do not.

For his role as the flamboyant Austrian fashion journalist Brüno, Cohen bleached his body hair, according to the British tabloid, the Sun. The paper reports that the darkly hirsute Cohen, 37, suffered a severe allergic reaction to the peroxide and required medical treatment.

So far, there’s been no comment from the Cohen camp. And Brüno, the British satirist’s follow-up to his 2006 Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, doesn’t open until July 10.
