Singer and Mom of 4 Kimberly Henderson Shares Another Unedited Photo of Post-Baby Body: 'Every Imperfection On My Belly Was Worth' It
The single mom shared a stretch mark photo on her Facebook page
Singer and mother of four Kimberly Henderson has taken to Facebook again to remind moms to embrace their post-baby bodies.
The South Carolina-based musician – who also bared her belly in a post that went viral in June – says she was getting out of the shower when she got a glimpse of the loose skin and stretch marks that covered her stomach.
“I happened to glance in the mirror and kinda sighed and thought dang what I would give to see my abs again,” she captioned an unedited photo of her stomach.
But it only took one sweet second with her 2-year-old to snap Henderson, 27, out of her “pity me moment.”
“My 2 year old grabbed my leg and pulled on my shorts for me to kiss her,” she wrote. “And it was that second she reminded me that every imperfection on my belly was worth having sweet moments like that! #lovetheskinyourein.”
The single mom first gained Internet fame after a video of her singing Sam Smith’s arrangement of Whitney Houston’s “How Will I Know” to lull her baby to sleep went viral in December.

“I’ve always been super insecure about my post-baby body,” she told PEOPLE earlier this year. “I’m 102 lbs. but my belly’s not flat anymore and it’s never going to be, and I’m okay with that.”
Henderson says she is open and honest about her body in hopes of inspiring other moms.
“I wanted other moms that felt like I did in the past to not worry about it, and embrace it, and just be confident with who you are,” she says. “Stretch marks and loose skin – that doesn’t matter. I wanted them to be able to say, ‘I have that same stomach, and I can still wear my bikini.’ If you feel confident and beautiful in your skin, then that’s going to be sexy to anybody.”
