The Queen of Mean is now the queen of lean!

Lisa Lampanelli is showing off her new figure after losing 80 lbs. with gastric sleeve surgery.

“I got sick of trying everything. I tried every single thing imaginable – diet, exercise,” she tells Dr. Oz during an interview on his talk show that will air Wednesday. “I even bought a house on the health spa property and I still gained weight.”

Lampanelli, 51, turned to the surgery, which decreases the size of a patient’s stomach to limit the amount of food she can eat.

“For 32 years – from 18 to 50 – I tried everything on the planet, and once I had a clean slate with that I said, ‘You know what? Nothing’s working for me. I’m going to treat this like the addiction that it is. I’m going to get this surgery and use it as a tool. That’s all it is, a tool to help me get over it,’ ” she says. (Watch a clip above.)

Now she’s eating much smaller portions but still enjoying her favorite dishes.

“I order food like a normal human being. If I’m out to lunch I’m going to order three courses like everybody else. I’m not going to feel like some kind of freak,” she says in another clip of the interview (below). “So I always order soup, dessert and a sandwich or whatever main course. But then the idea is you have to eat such a small portion of it and bring the rest home.”

When Dr. Oz says Lampanelli’s typical lunch looks like a snack, she quips, “You’re a skinny guy. What can I tell you? You’re the people we hate.”
