I don’t know about you, but I’m having one of those “pinch me” moments. How on earth are we here already?? The final few weeks on the ranch have come and in my mind the spotlight is all on me.

Did I do all that I could to prepare these guys to become finalists? Even more importantly, did I do enough for them to be prepared for going home? Did I ask enough questions? Did we go deep enough? Did I live up to my end of the bargain as their friend and trainer?

All these thoughts swam through my head this week, so I made a point to have deeper conversations every day up on the ranch. One of my favorite dialogs was actually sitting with the boys while Roberto spoke with Colby.

Expressing his confidence and belief in him, I (for the first time) saw the incredible teacher that Roberto is. Colby was taken aback, I had chills and we all were misty by the end of it … I will never forget the feeling of that moment. To see these two men standing at the end of this Biggest Loser journey elevating each other made it clear that I had held up my end of the deal.

There was one more question that did come up for me, however. One that became our theme on and off camera all week long:

“WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!”

These guys did the work and allowed their vulnerability to become a strength, but where was the final step? Ironically, to step into their greatness became just as hard as the first step in this process. We all experience this. Even me. ‘Will I disappoint? Will I fail? What will it reveal about me?’ Don’t give these questions the power over you, allowing fear to distort your reality. Remember, you could never have come this far if you were not ready for it.

I truly believe in the capacity of each of you. Now go step into your greatness – it’s waiting for you.
