The star revealed Monday she is battling cancer
Janice Dickinson stepped out in Los Angeles hours after revealing she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The former supermodel was spotted with her fiancé Dr. Robert “Rocky” Gerner, with the couple shopping for plants.
Dickinson, 61, revealed her diagnosis during a video interview with DailyMail.com. She said she got the call from her doctor that she had breast cancer about two weeks ago when she was shopping with her 22-year-old daughter Savannah.
Days before the diagnosis, Dickinson’s doctor found a lump the size of a pea on her right breast that didn’t “feel right” and told her it needed to became checked out.
“I became fearful,” Dickinson said of that moment. “But not for myself. I was fearful for my two children. My fiancé, my loving fiancé Rocky.”
Dickinson said in the Daily Mail video she is determined to fight her cancer and come through stronger than ever.
“I’m going to get through this. You betcha, kiddo,” she said. “And I’ll be just fine. This is not a pity party. I’m Janice Dickinson. I’m going to stick around for a long long time.”
