Move over, Magic Mike!

Former Beverly Hills 90210 star Ian Ziering may be 49, but age isn’t stopping him from shaking his groove thang – and showing off his ripped bod.

The actor plans to dance and disrobe as a guest star with the famed Chippendales dancers, taking the stage to perform for four weeks in June at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

“Actors and performers never know what their next job will be and when I got the call from Chippendales my jaw dropped as it came on the heels of TMZ calling me fat on national TV,” Ziering said in a statement. The actor recently Tweeted he was down 12 pounds.

“I am passionate about health and fitness so I’ve kept in shape, and dancing is something I’ve always enjoyed, so I figured why not?” said Ziering, whose wife Erin dubbed him “Magic Ian.”

Added a thick-skinned Ziering: “I am so excited to be a part of this iconic worldwide organization, it’s really a dream come true! Hey TMZ, I’ve got two front row seats for you!”

Ziering previously showed off his dancing chops, earning semi-finalist honors on the fourth season of Dancing with the Stars where he teamed with partner Cheryl Burke.

Ziering, a spokesman for Nu Skin anti-aging products, follows in the dancing footsteps of Joey Lawrence and The Bachelor‘s Jake Pavelka, who both have performed with the Chippendales. Dad to a daughter, Mia, who turns 2 on April 25, Ziering is expecting daughter baby no. 2 in May.
