Gayle King‘s diet starts “TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
The CBS This Morning anchor announced her new weight loss regimen on Saturday morning after sharing that she weighs 184.5 pounds.
“Thought I was 5 lbs. less and felt bad about THAT,” the reportedly 5’10” host captioned the Instagram photo of her visit to the scale.
“Was planning to start @weightwatchers Monday after a last supper weekend .. Now starting TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!” she continued.
King, 60, has been open about her fluctuating body weight, just like longtime friend Oprah Winfrey.
In February she posted, “Fatter than I have ever been! Help has just arrived in the form of @Beyonc 22 day vegan diet lunar pasta ,brown rice pilaf,rosemary white beans !”
In 2004, the journalist outliniened her rigorous workout regimen in O magazine and said, “I deny myself nothing” when it comes to food.

“Some people don’t eat pasta or bread or sweets ever,” she said. “I love those foods too much. So for the most part, I eat healthy, but if I go to a party or on vacation, I’m going to enjoy it; then I work extra hard to get back to where I was.”
