brightcove.createExperiences(); Chontel Duncan just can’t escape the Internet trolls.

The fit mom, who shocked people with her tiny baby belly, posted a selfie with her 2-week-old son Miah, but her followers started criticizing Duncan for improperly supporting his head.

Duncan, 27, fought back in another post a few hours later, adding an outtake where Miah is curled up on her chest.

“Sorry but I’m not going to be nice about what I think about your belittling attempts to educate me on the safety or better yet my intentions as a new mum,” Duncan begins.

“Miah lifted his head up an for that second that he did so, I just happened to have caught it on camera, before he then laid his head back down on my chest,” she explains. “New borns can lift their own heads up its not me standing there with his head flicked back shooting away.”

Haters aside, mom and baby are doing well. Duncan says that Miah is happily breastfeeding, and she’s healing from the C-section.

“My c-section incision is healing nicely,” she posted. “It’s larger then a normal one due to the doctors struggling to get Miah out at the time of my operation where my core held him in very tightly.”

“Scar, stretch marks, wider hips, heavy ‘not so perky’ jugs WHO CARES I have a baby & though I was very lucky to not have many of those I did receive a large scar which I am very proud of.”

And on Monday, the personal trainer posted that she and a few of her fellow mom friends took a first aid course for pediatric care.

“This course was UNREAL, and far out the information was so important for parents,” she says. “Hopefully we will never need to practice any of it but the confidence in knowing was well worth it.”

It’s all good information for the new mom, especially she hopes to add another face to the family soon.

“If all goes well, I plan to fall pregnant again this year,” she previously told PEOPLE.
