The 2016 Tony Awards made history before it even started, when Hamilton nabbed a record-breaking 16 nominations – and on Sunday the musical took home a whopping 11 awards. The hip-hop-infused musical about the life of Alexander Hamilton took home the coveted award for best play, while creator Lin-Manuel Miranda nabbed the award for best original score. Actor Leslie Odom Jr. also took home the award for best actor for his turn in the musical. Other winners include The Humans for best play, Jessica Lange for best actress in a play (getting her one step closer to and EGOT), Frank Langella for best actor in a play and more.
