5 Seconds of Summer is having a way better year than you.

The boy band from Down Under – made up of Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin and Michael Clifford – had such a great 2014, they can’t pick their favorite moment.

“We’ve had so many, it’s hard to narrow it down,” Hemmings, 18, said at Thursday’s PEOPLE Magazine Awards. “It’s been a big year,” Hood, also 18, added.

But if they had to choose?

“Putting together our own album,” Hemmings said.

As for next year, the band is looking forward to – what else? – making more music.

“Next year we’ll be touring pretty much non-stop,” Irwin said. “We want to make another album, continue the good times, really. Let the good times roll!”

The group, who will take the stage at Thursday’s show, said they’re “incredibly excited” to perform.

“There’s a lot of people around looking good,” Irwin, 20, said. “I don’t know if we look the part, but we tried to dress up tonight to look kinda good.”
