Chris Rock gave the Best Picture nominees a new twist.

During the Oscars ceremony on Sunday, the host called for more opportunities for black actors – and showed just how easy it could be.

“If you’re a black actor, just getting an opportunity to be in a movie can be a struggle,” Rock said.

Rock, 50, offered a few examples of how some films might have looked – with the help of some cleverly spliced-together scenes featuring black actors.

Whoopi Goldberg sassed Jennifer Lawrence in Joy, while Leslie Jones beat up Leonardo DiCaprio for “not calling” her back in The Revenant.

Tracy Morgan even gave his take on The Danish Girl, donning a silk nightgown and red lipstick – and eating a danish.

Rock even took on the role as an astronaut stranded on Mars in The Martian as Kristen Wiig and Jeff Daniels debated spending $2,500 “white dollars” on bringing him back to earth. Ultimately, they decided to go out for a snack and let Rock fend for himself.

The 88th annual Awards, hosted by Chris Rock, are being presented live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
