Brie Larson beat Jennifer Lawrence for Best Actress

Jennifer Lawrence found the Silver Lining after leaving the Oscars empty-handed Sunday night: partying the night away in an award-worthy crop-top/skirt combination.

The Joy star – who lost Best Actress in a Leading Role to Room‘s Brie Larson – sizzled in a sexy a custom Alexander Wang crepe bustier and high-slit skirt at the 2016 Vanity Fair Oscar Party hosted by Graydon Carter.

Her date to the bash? Director, close friend and frequent collaborator David O. Russell, who posed with his muse on the red carpet before entering the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California.

Lawrence, 25, already has one golden statuettes to her name: She won the Oscar for her role in 2012’s Silver Linings Playbook, also directed by Russell, 57.
