Chris Rock is cool, calm and collected in his final minutes before hosting the Oscars.
In a snap he shared via Twitter Sunday, the comedian is pictured editing the monologue millions of people around the world will watch him deliver.
“Cutting the fat off my monologue #oscars,” Rock, 51, wrote as other stars hit the red carpet.
And that’s just the latest step in his Oscars prep plan. Earlier in the day, Rock stopped by McDonald’s for breakfast – a video of which he shared on Twitter. (If you’re wondering what a man eats before helming the biggest award show of the year, look no further than pancakes and sausage.)
He started the day with a note to himself: “Get ready,” Rock scribbled on a piece of official Oscars paper.
Rock also got support from some famous pals, including Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o, who sweetly wished him luck.
Of course, this isn’t his first time at the rodeo – Rock first hosted the Academy Awards in 2005.
The 88th annual Oscars, hosted by Chris Rock, are being presented live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
