The fun isn't over when the Academy Awards end

With Sunday’s Academy Awards just two days away, the parties surrounding Hollywood’s biggest week are reaching fever pitch. Here’s a guide to the starriest soirees of the weekend – and where the winners, nominees and power players will head after the show to keep the celebration going.

Friday
The Great British Film Reception, hosted by Best Actor nominee Eddie Redmayne, will toast stars from across the pond at the upscale Mediterranean restaurant Fig & Olive.

Females in film will be honored at the 9th annual Women in Film cocktail party at Hyde Sunset. Guests such as Orange is the New Black‘s Taryn Manning and Sarah Hyland, will attend the Vanity Fair, L’Oréal Paris D.J. Night hosted by Hailee Steinfeld.

Saturday
Almost every A-lister in town comes together for a good cause at the Motion Picture and Television Fund’s Night Before Party. Last year’s event raised $5.2 million and past soirees have included guests such as Jennifer Aniston, George Clooney and Bradley Cooper.

After that, the Weinstein Company’s pre-Oscar fete (sponsored by Heineken) is sure to get Carol and Hateful Eight nominees dancing with special performances by Zendaya and Derek Hough.

During the day, stars head to the sand for the annual Film Independent Spirit Awards (sponsored by Fiji Water). Nominees such as Cate Blanchett and Room‘s Jacob Tremblay will gather under a tent on the beach in Santa Monica for the laid-back affair.

Sunday
Elton John will host his annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party presented by Audi at West Hollywood Park, where guests such as Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi, as well as Caitlyn Jenner, Katy Perry and Nicole Kidman will indulge in dinner by Gordon Ramsay and a performance by the Rocket Man himself.

After the show wraps, the Academy’s official Governors Ball will welcome 1,500 guests, to the Ray Dolby Ballroom at the Hollywood & Highland Center.Performers will include Grammy-nominated band Orleans Avenue, and husband-and-wife duo DJ M.O.S. and DJ Kiss.

The casts of this year’s Best Picture nominees Bridge of Spies, Brooklyn, The Martian and The Revenant are also expected to join the stars of Youth and Joy at the 20th Century Fox/Fox Searchlight/Regency Enterprises bash at the Hollywood Athletic Club.

After hitting the Weinstein Company shindig at the Montage Hotel, all the stars will wrap up their evening at the famous Vanity Fair party in Beverly Hills.

Last year’s VF revelers included Beyoncé and Jay Z, as well as Meryl Streep, John Travolta and Oprah.
