Neil Patrick Harris‘s opening song-and-dance routine at the 2015 Oscars was a fast-flying mélange of pop culture references and jokes from Hollywood’s past and present.

Nestled in there was a brief clip of Harris singing from the opening scene of Star Wars – you know, when Darth Vader strides aboard the Rebel ship, accompanied by a few stormtroopers?

Well, some of those stormtroopers participated in a few onstage dance moves later in the number, and people on Twitter immediately started drawing comparisons to Katy Perry‘s dancing Super Bowl sharks.
