Jessica Chastain's Oscar Nod Call Was a Very Fashionable Occasion
The Help actress finds out while sitting front row at the Giorgio Armani Privé fashion show
Answering your cell phone while sitting front row at a show is hardly considered proper Fashion Week etiquette.
A notable exception to the rule would be when Jessica Chastain answered a call before the start of Tuesday’s Giorgio Armani Privé haute couture presentation to learn she’d been nominated for an Oscar.
Also witness to the spectacle were Colin Firth’s wife, Livia, and Vogue Italia editor, Franca Sozzani, who relayed the moment via Twitter.
The best supporting nod marks 30-year-old Chastain’s first Oscar nomination, which she received for her role as the naïve Celia Foote in the ensemble drama, The Help.
