Naomie Harris Reveals the Iconic Movie Line That Had Her 'On the Floor'
The Moonlight Oscar nominee shared some candid confessions with PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly Editorial Director Jess Cagle for The Cagle Exercise — and Harris didn’t hold back.
Harris revealed that her favorite movie line came from Cruise in Jerry Maguire when he tells Renée Zellweger that she completes him.
“That had me on the floor,” she said. “I think everyone’s looking to be completed, right? I think that’s the ultimate line in any movie.”
But while Cruise made Harris’ heart melt in that touching scene, the actress said she isn’t one for movie-star crushes.

“I really haven’t had a movie-star crush,” she admitted. “I’ve been in love with Michael Jackson for the longest time, but that’s the only real crush I’ve ever had.”
The actress also revealed that her preferred movie-watching attire is a “onesie” and that like Viola Davis, she is usually thinking about food when the camera cuts to her during an awards show.

As for her favorite movie snack? Popcorn, of course.
“You can’t have a movie without popcorn,” she said. “It’s really annoying when other people eat it because it’s so noisy. We should ban other people from eating popcorn, just me.”
