Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett Are Set to Duet at the Grammys
"I'm humbled to be nominated and performing [with a legend,] Gaga Tweeted Tuesday
“I’m humbled to be nominated & performing @TheGRAMMYs w an incredible man,” Gaga Tweeted late Tuesday night alongside a photo of her smooching the ageless, 87-year-old jazz crooner. “Honoring a legend, I stand proudly behind him.”
“I will love performing with @ladygaga on @TheGRAMMYs,” Bennett Tweeted Wednesday morning. “It’s my favorite time of year being with fellow performers. Can’t wait!”
The odd couple – who despite being nearly six decades apart have become fast friends – are nominated for a best traditional pop vocal album Grammy for their jazz album, Cheek to Cheek.
The Grammys air Sunday, Feb. 8, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
