Are you a fan of Fargo?

Specifically, are you a fan of Peggy Blumquist, the slightly nutty beautician played by Kirsten Dunst in the second season of the hit FX show?

Well, Dunst is a fan, too, precisely because of that nuttiness.

“She was written so crazy,” Dunst told PEOPLE at Sunday’s Critics’ Choice Awards, where she picked up honors for her role. “She was a hoarder, and she wanted to be a hairdresser in California … you just don’t read things like that. You’re either a wife or a mother and that’s pretty much it, you know.”
