Is there anything Jennifer Lopez can’t do?
The multitalented entertainer won the Triple Threat award for her work as an actor, producer and singer at the PEOPLE Magazine Awards on Thursday.
“Whether its acting, singing or producing, I feel so blessed,” said Lopez, 45, as she accepted her award at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. “I love to entertain. We have to cherish every moment. I feel like its just the beginning.”
Ryan Guzman, who plays Lopez’s onscreen lover in the upcoming psychological thriller Boy Next Door (out Jan. 23), presented her with the award.
“She is the mother of two amazing children. I’m struck by her professionalism,” he said. “She is a true triple threat.”
Lopez has had a busy year. As executive producer on ABC Family’s The Fosters, Lopez has been at the helm of one of the network’s most successful and critically acclaimed series. On Boy Next Door, she pulls double-duty as lead actor and producer.
Meanwhile, her video for “Booty,” featuring Iggy Azalea, has been viewed nearly 87 million times on YouTube, and the single’s debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart was the second highest of her career.
