Jennifer Hudson is slowly returning to public life after her mother, brother and nephew were killed in October: The 27-year-old singer, who is nominated for three Grammy awards, will perform at the awards show next month, it was announced Monday.

Hudson is nominated for best R&B album for her self-titled album, best female R&B vocal performance, and best R&B performance by a duo or group with vocals for her duet with Fantasia, “I’m His Only Woman.”

A week before the Grammys, on Feb. 1., Hudson will perform the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.

The 51st Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 8 p.m. on CBS.
