Jaimie Alexander promises not to be a bridezilla.

The Blindspot actress, 31, talked about her upcoming nuptials to Peter Facinelli at the Golden Globes, revealing that they are still in the early planning stage – though they do have a few ideas.

“We’re just moving so because both of us are so busy,” Alexander told PEOPLE, adding that her action-packed NBC show has inspired a possible theme for the wedding. “But we’re toying with the idea of doing something kind of stunt-oriented to just mix it up and doing something kind of wild and fun.”

And if that doesn’t sound like your typical wedding, it’s because Alexander isn’t your typical bride. She admitted that she just doesn’t have the “girly gene” when it comes to planning the perfect wedding ceremony.

“If I could have someone else do it for me I’d be, like ‘Great,’ ” she said. “I just don’t have it in me, that, like, girly gene that’s, like, ‘I need to be in a white dress.’ I could be in a pair of jeans and be just as well.”

And while they may not be in a rush to head the wedding aisle, that didn’t stop Alexander and Facinelli, 42, from cuddling and kissing their way down the red carpet on Sunday night.

The pair packed on the PDA as they posed for photographers, and even shared a romantic smooch.

Alexander stunned in a green-and-black metallic dress with a plunging neckline, while Facinelli complemented her look in an all-black ensemble.
