It was a rainy night in Los Angeles on Sunday, but there was still plenty of stargazing at the Golden Globe afterparties – even among the celebrities themselves.

At the Summit after-party at the Beverly Hilton, Glee star Matthew Morrison seemed almost as thrilled with the people he’d met as with his sitcom winning best comedy TV series.

“I got to tell you, I talked to Sean Penn and George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro,” he said. “It’s been amazing.”

De Niro, it turns out, is apparently a Glee fan. Doing his best De Niro impression, Morrison recalled: “He came up to me and said, ‘Hey, you the guy, you the guy.’ ”

The Twilight actors were also in demand, with Bill Paxton bringing his 12-year-old daughter Lydia to the Summit party in search of Taylor Lautner. (Unfortunately, he had already left.)

Other guests at the Summit party included Jeremy Renner, Ashley Greene, Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford, Pierce Brosnan, Matthew Fox, Jodie Foster, Kathryn Bigelow, Brian Geraghty, Craig Robinson, Peter Facinelli and Evangeline Lilly.

Lindsay Lohan, in a hooded silver dress by Brian Lichtenberg, hit up the InStyle/Warner Bros., afterparty. Also in attendance there were Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr, Kate Bosworth, Vanessa Hudgens, Sophia Bush and Austin Nichols, Adrian Grenier, Kim Raver, Rose McGowan and Katherine McPhee.

James Cameron and much of the Avatar cast, including Michelle Rodriguez, celebrated their win at the FOX party – with Cameron entering to loud cheers, with a magnum of champagne in one hand and the Globe award in the other.

Other guests at the FOX party included Colin Farrell, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard.
