Selena Gomez had nothing but praise for her ex Justin Bieber after his big Grammys win Monday night.

The singer, who dated Bieber off-and-on for several years, told Entertainment Tonight that she’s excited for the Canadian crooner.

“I’m very happy for him. Honestly, so cool,” Gomez said of Bieber’s best dance recording win for his collaboration with Skrillex and Diplo, "Where Are Ü Now."

She added of the trio, “They have such a cool energy amongst all of them to be able to create something like that. It’s really great.”

It’s been a big night for Bieber: after winning his trophy during the Staples Center pre-show, he traveled to the awards ceremony with James Corden for a new edition of “Carpool Karaoke.”

The singer, 21, also brought his younger brother Jaxon, 6, as his date for the big night, where he’s set to perform the award-winning track.

Gomez, on the other hand, accompanied BFF Taylor Swift to the show – and celebrated accordingly when the star won the best music video Grammy.
