McCartney may have just been excited to see someone in his age bracket onstage

The Grammys took a bold risk Sunday night in introducing the music of Electric Light Orchestra and Jeff Lynne to a younger crowd, who seemed … mostly indifferent as Lynne shared the stage with Ed Sheeran to perform ELO’s “Evil Woman” and “Mr. Blue Sky.”

Taylor Swift was, as always, overtly enthusiastic in the audience. But there was one person in the crowd who really, really enjoyed the performance, and that person was Kanye West‘s recent discovery, Sir Paul McCartney.

He was in the minority on that. Other reaction shots showed people clapping politely or just looking puzzled.

We’re calling it: Paul McCartney dancing in 2015 is the new Blue Ivy dancing in 2014.
