The Golden Globes are notorious for being a freewheeling affair – and Amy Poehler clearly took that to heart.

The Parks and Recreation star, who was up for best actress in a TV series, musical or comedy, mugged it up big time as the nominees for her category were announced. And she roped in none other than Bono to help out with the gag.

As Poehler’s name was read as a nominee, the camera cut to the actress getting cozy with the U2 rocker as, feigning anxiety, she sat on his lap while receiving a frisky shoulder rub from Bono.

But the biggest surprise was reserved for Poehler herself, who actually won the award.

As the audience erupted into wild cheers and applause, Poehler, 42, pretended to make out with Bono, 53, who cheerfully played along with the cheeky charade.

“Wow, I was not prepared for this!” a flustered Poehler said when she finally hightailed it onstage to accept her award. “I’ve never won anything like this.”

One person who apparently was not pleased with the display? Poehler’s beau Nick Kroll. Late Sunday, the comic Tweeted: “Hey Bono, watch your back.”
