Kirsten Dunst Talks Gaining Weight for 'Fargo' Role: I Ate a Lot of 'Bread and Cheese'

Kristen Dunst is basically on a dream diet.

The actress, 33, talked about having to pack on a few pounds for her role in Fargo while on the red carpet at the Golden Globes.

“Literally I just gained weight,” she told E! News.

So what did she eat exactly?

“Bread and cheese,” she revealed. “Different assortments.”

Dunst is nominated for best actress in a limited series for her role as a small-town beautician on Fargo. The FX show is also up for best TV limited series/motion picture.

But Dunst certainly didn’t let a little weight gain hold her back when it came to choosing a dress for the award ceremony. The actress stunned in a long black, velvet gown. The dress showed off her trim waist with several ties and featured a plunging neckline.

The 73rd annual Golden Globes, hosted by Ricky Gervais, are being presented live from Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on NBC.
