It’s official. Eddie Redmayne is not only the best actor, he’s also the best husband.

Hours after the Beverly Hilton ceremony, where he accepted the Golden Globe for best actor in a motion picture, drama, the Theory of Everything star was spotted giving his new wife Hannah Bagshawe a piggyback ride down Wilshire Boulevard.

Earlier in the evening, Redmayne, 33, revealed that he and Bagshawe, who tied the knot just before the holidays, had to cut their honeymoon short to attend the awards show.

“We should still be on honeymoon,” he told E! on the red carpet.

Redmayne wasn’t the only actor keeping chivalry alive. Channing Tatum dutifully held wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s train aloft to keep it from getting wet on the red carpet.

“I have an hourly rate: Anyone that needs their train held, I’m here,” Tatum later joked to E!

Looks like Redmayne should look into an hourly rate as well.
